We specialise in custom and classic cars and motorcycles to assist you in your restoration or customisation projects and pride ourselves on the quality of our work. As car and motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves we know how important quality and finish is and as such, treat all your components with the attention they deserve and you expect..
We can provide shotblasting and/or powder coating for any number of components on cars or motorcycles, some of the most common are listed below:
Alloy and steel wheels, roll cages, sub-frames, motorcycle frames and swing arms, coil springs, engine components (Air boxes, exhaust manifolds etc), engine blocks, heads, turbos, sumps and rocker covers to name but a few. All our powder coating comes with a minimum two year guarantee (subject to terms and conditions) and can be extended further, subject to the level of coating required.
Industrial and commercial
We provide shotblasting for industrial or commercial customers for items up to 6m in length, 4.5m wide and 3.2 m in height. Our non ferrous blast media and glass bead enables us to finish stainless steel used for items associated with food preparation, pharmaceutics and manufacture, without any risk of corrosion from trapped ferrous blast media. We can also powder coat items up to 5.5m in length 2.5m wide and 2.1 meters in height.
At Rye Metal Finishing, we can provide services to the marine sector. We use an industry approved coating system that provides a very durable finish that is designed to withstand the harsh elements found with sea water. This system is specially designed to endure salt water corrosion and offer a lasting decorative, yet protective coating to virtually any metal components or structure.
We have recently completed a project for the environent agency by powder coating the stop log gates and runners on the river Brede in East Sussex. This provided a durable and environmentally friendly solution to coating the parts as against other available methods.
