Surrey Metal Finishing offer a number of methods of finishing industrial metal. Shot Blasting is the use of high pressure hoses to blast metal with either coarse or fine materials to remove rust, discolouration paint etc. There are two different techniques : Grit Blasting - generally for industrial and mechanical use before coating. Bead Blasting - for use when a finer finish is required which will not be coated. We have two industrial blasting chambers : our Bead Basting chamber is 3m length, 2.5m width by 2.5m height our Grit Blasting Chamber is 4.5m length, 3m width by 3m height. Finally there is the option of finishing the metal by a process known as Powder Coating. With our two custom-built ovens we can cater for up to 4m lengths and up to 2 tonnes in weight.
