Surrey Metal Finishing offer a number of methods of finishing industrial metal. Shot Blasting is the use of high pressure hoses to blast metal with either coarse or fine materials to remove rust, discolouration paint etc. There are two different techniques : Grit Blasting - generally for industrial and mechanical use before coating. Bead Blasting - for use when a finer finish is required which will not be coated. We have two industrial blasting chambers : our Bead Basting chamber is 2.7m length, 2m width by 2.3m height our Grit Blasting Chamber is 4.5m length, 3m width by 2.3m height. Finally there is the option of finishing the metal by a process known as Powder Coating. With our custom-built oven we can cater for up to 3.2m lengths. The oven is 2.5 high and 1.6 wide.
